Personal background
Hi!
Howdy?
I am a 39 year old French teacher of English living in one of the greatest place of the world...the Basque Country, in the very south of France, 10 km far from the Spanish border.
My hobbies are running (not as often as I would like *sigh*), the Internet since 1996, and pets :-))...I've got 11 dogs, 4 cats, plus a few hedgehogs and rabbits in my garden.Yeah, you got it: I live in the country and I luv it !

Besides, I enjoy teachin' English and I hope I'm not too boring, always tryin' to find new or unusual activities for my pupils. Most of them 'r' quite nice...so it's cool.

I won't say 'I want to believe' but...who knows? Hope the seti at home project will get sometin' special one day...
bye for now

Oh yeah, if anyone wants to send an email, do so ! ;-))

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Who would be able to state _and prove_ that extraterrestrial life is NOT possible ? This would be as a nonsense as trying to prove that life is only possible on our tiny lonely planet...
To be honest, got no idea of the when and how but why couldn't that be ?
Possible benefits ??? many, no doubt about it, plus it should be reasonable to think that benefits should be far more important than risks.
But there 'r' always fans of 'mars attacks' or 'war of the worlds' who prefer fear to hope.well, to me, everybody can choose how he wants to live, huh?

2.YES of course, and if by any way we could be able to communicate, tell them it would be nice to chat for a while 'bout Life, love and the best way to eat cookies.

3.Well, if it can helps...but anyway there aren't many people who heard about the project here in France so some advertising would be welcome.
