Personal background
Hi,,
I’m David from Newcastle, Archive Administrator and CEO of Transparent-Aluminium. I spend a lot of time around computers, programming and working on animations, and listing to BBC Radio (Mark and Lard where/are the best) or watching Star Trek. I’m one of the best Programmers on the area and have won awards for me outstanding and highly precise work, and my Photos and animations have been published on numerous occasions. Yes you’ve guess it, I’m a sad @£$#& I can be described in four words “Intellectual Giant - social outcast”. My favourite Bands are LinkinPark, The Corrs, and The Shirehorses.

Biggedy-Biggedy-Bong!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) Yes. We will discover extraterrestrial life in 2063. It will be shortly after Dr. Zefram Cochrane successfully carry’s out his pioneering warp-drive flight that will precipitate Earth's "first contact" with the Volcans.

2) Yes, it should say “Ex astris, scientia”

3) We used to run it on the original Archive computers but not long after installing SETI@home we rebuild and expanded and I forgot to reinstall it but then randomly a couple of year later ish’ I got an E-mail from them and remembered to reinstall it.

I first discover SETI@home when I was assisting as an IT Technician at some of the Local Colleges and I seen it running on there servers and thought that my Archive Class Computers could be of use in the project.
