Rupert the bear woke peacefully and looked around his bedroom. The early rays of the sun beamed through the window, lighting up the warm yellow walls and bringing to life the flowers in a vase on his bedside table. Birds sang outside, and Rupert was happy. He got up, gave one final yawn, stretched and enjoyed the view. Lambs ran happily around the meadow, the stream warbled hapily nearby, butterflies flitted from flower to flower, and he could hear a woodpecker in the distant green forest.
"Another happy day" he said to himeslf, as he walked out to feel the warmth of the sun's rays on his fur. A squirrel hopped up to him, nuzzled his foot, and then scampered off again.
There was a sound nearby that Rupert couldn't quite place. As he turned around a shadow passed across his face.
!!!!!WHACK!!!!!
Rupert crumpled into a heap on the ground. Powerless to move, he saw a dark shadow sprint by. It was l33t bear.
"Damned spawn killers" he mumbled.
"pwned" came the reply, before darkness took Rupert forever. |
