Profile: Vicki Hudson

Personal background
I write short stories, am a retired rugby player (Berkeley All-Blues) and current referee (Northern California) and coach (San Francisco Fog). Polka Bear and Boo are my dogs, though in October 01 Boo moved on to the great dog park where there are no leashes ever and lots of mud, water and grass to play in. I like to cook and those who know me well love that I do.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Life elsewhere has to exist, believing it doesn't is alot like believing the earth is flat.

If we can respond to life elsewhere with respect for infinite diversity, there is hope for a peaceful universe.

I run seti@home because I like having a small part in the project and because it shows that when many individuals come together and do their part for something, what could be possible. Seti is more than looking for life elsewhere. It is ordinary people taking part in extraordinary possibiliites.
