Personal background
I am 29 and holding guy from Dallas,TX. I drive 18 wheelers for a living. I like computers, motorcycles, traveling(hence the job), plus other things... This is starting to sound like a personal ad. :)

INFO: I run a 1.2 AMD using the CLI client. When I have the computer turn off the monitor, my packet time goes from 7 hours to 5.5 hours. I change it in the Energy saving features under the screen saver tab.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) I do not think we are the only life in the universe. As for when we will discover it, I sort of think we have been discovered allready. My views are mixed on benefits or dangers cause if we have been visited, just think how we look to them. Sort of like we looking at ants. We see them industious, but little more and more of a pest at times. Just think how we would act if we did travel the stars with our current troubles, problems and lack of being able to get along with beings of our own type, let alone a different race.

2) Not really, cause the chance that a hostile race might see us as a threat. Not untill we can live in peace on this planet at least.

3) To help prove that we are not alone out here.
