My name is Ian Campbell. I was born on December 31, 1982 (yes, New Year's Eve) in Loma Linda. I've lived throughout southern California my entire life! I hold the age of 18, to be 19 this New Year's Eve. I am currently a college student at DeVry - Institute of Technology in Pomona, California, my current city of residence. I will major in CIS (Computer Information Systems) with a Bachelor's of Science degree in three years; DeVry is accelerated. I plan to return to another college to major in Graphic Design in the following years. In my first degree, I will focus on programming and computer systems - my love, my dream, my spare time. I have completed one of nine trimesters, so I'll be here in southern California for the next 2.67 years!
I've always been interested in Astronomy, and science for that matter. I'm more a science type guy. The theories, questions and technology are simply breath-taking. I am very fascinated by the photos taken by observatories and the HST (Hubble Space Telescope); I've made a screen saver with my personal favorite photos! The SETI program is even more in my interest. Along the way, other things will (not may or might, but WILL) be discovered and change human history forever... I'd like to be a part of that discovery process.
Being only 18 years young, people tend to underestimate the abilities of young (yet powerful) minds. I assure you, I am quite the capable individual! =o) |
