I'm a 30 year old cutlery specialist from Portland, Oregon. I enjoy collecting knives and reading. I am happily married with two children. My wife is a 33 year old Neighbohood liaison and activist and Web Designer. We have a 15 year old daughter and a ten year old son. Our daughter wants to do voice overs and dubbing for Japanese Anime movies, our son "just wants to be a kid".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Only the human race would be so arrogant as to believe we are the only ones out there. Should we transmit a beacon? Sure, why not. We would have to do a great deal of research into what we could send out that would not be considered aggresive. We run SETI at home so that you have one more ear to the ground.
