Did a 180 and went back into computers (baseball kept me from my computer career) :) and now consult for one of the largest software development companies in the world.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think its great to be able to use those extra cycles that sit idle during the workday on my machines at home... to quote a great line from Contact..
"It would be a terrible waste of space" and i truly believe there ARE others out there. Its just such a vast expanse of space to find/discover the signals..
