I believe there are other beings out there and like us they are listening. One day...one day..hopefully before i pass.. maybe well run into them. benefits of meeting-- the sharing of technology space flight, health care could all change. People that die needlessly could be saved. Danger of meeting- they are violent or bring desease or are meat eaters.
Yes, we only live once-we are destined for destruction on this planet, let us try to get off of it before someone with power makes a bad call and we all pay for it. We should transmit coordinates and what we are.
I run the seti at home because of the shared computer power. I think that it is a great idea. We should all try in some way to better our lives together in some way. At least we are all working together, People from all parts of the world.
