Personal background

PERSONAL INFO:

Computer analyst / programmer by trade (specializing in Powerbuilder and Visual Basic Web application development / support,
and database design / server administration). I'm also a technology buff (I love electronic gadgets!), guitar player, music collector, basketball player/fan (I'm 6' 5" tall, what other sport would I play?), amateur astronomer, comic book collector, and aspiring gourmet cook. I currently reside
in the "great white north" of Minnesota in the U.S. I spend
at least a month or two traveling each year. Favorite
destinations include Europe (especially Germany and
Italy), the Caribbean and Northern Minnesota/Wisconsin or Canada (for
those great fishing trips). I've been happily married
to my amazing wife Jude for over a decade now. She is
my inspiration and my traveling partner on this road
called life.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that some form of extraterrestrial life exists out there in the universe.
Whether or not we can comprehend, or communicate with, those life forms is another
issue entirely. However, the pursuit of communication and/or contact is certainly
a very worthwhile endeavor.
