| I'm 18 and I am a current student at the good ol' college of Clarion University. I am currently studying Chemistry, Secondary Chemistry Education, and with a monors in Mathematics. I use to collect cards such as Star Wars and Star Trek. No I am not a full fledge trekie yet but I am getting there. I currently live in Clarion since I really can't commute from Erie, PA. I am also involved in Martial Arts and I have been in it for about 14 years. I am currently teaching Kung Fu but I do not have that many students. I love Clarion University. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I 100% believe that aliens exist. I mean the universe is such a big place and I think that the SETI@home is the greatest thing created. First off I have a cool screen saver and it also supports the grand hypothesis "Do they Exist?" If we were to find any intelligent life out there it would have a Huge effect on the population today. With the advances in technology and an era of peace. What more could people want? But we first need to create a transmitter. It is one of the only ways that are economically stable, no really expensive components i.e. over $1 billion, and the transmittents will eventually reach them. Frankly I would send something that deals with mathematics because that is the universal language. I mean to make a tranceiver would take plenty of mathematical expertice and well if we can send it that must make us semi intellegent, right? |
