Florida. Retired from IBM and interested in astronomy, science, mathematics,
and philosophy. The interest in astronomy probably triggered my participation
in the SETI program.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Considering the vastness of the universe it seems to me that there is a high
probability that there is extraterrestrial life. Whether it is similar to
humans perhaps is more questionable. When and how it will be discovered may be
determined by the SETI project or other proactive exploration or it may find us.
Perhaps technical break throughs will provide communication and exploration tools
that are more advanced than we now have. In the mean time I'll do my part with
SETI@home.
