I work as a test engineer in a worldwide famous company, (no i won't tell!)
I have a lot of passion in private life, book, films, Aikido, my wife and sci-fi fantasy games and stuffs.
I've spend sometimes as an Internet addict, i'm now wiser and know when hitting the disconnect button.
I consider myself as an average french people with the good and bad sides of it. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

SETI is what i called : "my slice of dream in the cake of life".
I love the idea that we are not alone in this universe. Elsewhere it would be so boring to live here!!!!
Given the incredible quantity of things we are actually, without even being aware, broadcasting througth space, i don't think a beacon usefull. On the other hand, if "the others ones" don't even make the same effort to seek for other life, they aren't worth the pain!
As for why i run seti@home : Because! ;-) |
