I live in Prescott, AZ USA. Born in 1971. I am not y2k compliant but that hasn't seemed to cause a problem. I've been working with various distributed computing projects from the begining.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm sure they are out there in spades. I don't know how likely we are to find them, but something should be done with all those idle cpu cycles. May as well contribute to the project that made distributed computing mainstream.
