| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home because I think spreading computation over many computers using a screen-saver is an incredibly smart idea. However, I do not expect the project to really find any proof of alien life, even though I think it is not unlikely that such life exists (although I not as sure about it as some SETI protagonists, maybe human life on earth is unique for reasons we do not understand yet). |
