| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

While in my opinion, the search for terrestrial intelligence is not even finished (people should better take a look out of their doors before stating they were the only intelligent species on this planet...), SETI@Home is nevertheless an interesting project that's worth supporting, even if it's only to see how you compare to others and to use all that idle CPU time.
OK, being a sci-fi fan myself, I hope all this search for extraterrestrial intelligence will lead somewhere and prove the existence of other lifeforms "out there".
