I am a 53 year old woman Scientist and work for Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, NY.
I enjoy reading immensely and spending time with my Grandson. It has been awhile since I have run setiathome. I look forward to participating again, and, hopefully help with this important research (and I also loved Contact).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It is very good to have a curious mind and SETI@HOME stimulates my mind. It is comforting (in some way)to participate with SETI and people around the world who are also interested in exploring the universe. I think the project is important and cool. It is important just knowing that there are scientists who believe in life beyond Earth and are doing something to discover where it is.
