Profile: Mycroft

Personal background
I am a 27 year old multimedia developer. Pretty simple, eh? Not really. That's just what I tell my boss every week.
Not a whole lot to be said about me that hasn't been said already. Engaged to be married, no criminal record, a lead-footed technician with a few vices. Worked for Commodore Business Machines performing repairs and sales by age 15 at the local computer store. Went to college, met a girl. Pretty neat, eh?
Anyhow, I stumbled across the SETI@Home program while lurking in IRC Chat rooms, and I'll admit I was more intrigued by the concept of the program than the actual goal, but upon reading about the program and using it myself, I'm proud of myself for helping out. SETI@Home is a great concept that works very well. Many times I won't even notice it's running while im working on applications and animations. And don't think for a second that I'm running any type of cutting edge computer, either. I'm a firm beleiver in building a solid machine that runs for YEARS. Check my 8088, check any of my C=64s for that matter. :) Gotta go. Take it easy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
to be edit. my appologies.
