I'm Sky Huang 21 years old, a student of geography of Taipei Taiwan.
I have started SETI from secondary school since a magazine I saw what about introducing computer. Then I download the classical program of SETI 3.0.3 . |

At the first I think that it is waste when my computer is free there then I found this grid process program could get my computer has full used and help scientist to get result faster.Most important, it looks profession and has nice looked interface.
It is rapidly developed of the digital world!
Nowadays,most personal computer could have the ability of parallel processing like "Hyper-Threading", "Dual core" etc. generally!
Maybe the engineers could develop it that let SETI or other grid program get into parallel calculation of every unit in a dual core CPU or dual CPU computer! I think it is difficult to reach the goal but could get the progress much more faster.
Many people would have no idea whethere the alien is existing, but my opinion is that many facts or law are found accidentlly by scinece experimentation. Maybe we can found some facts by this in the immeasurable cosmos space! |
