| I'm from State College, Pa., I'm 22, and I am into anything Sci-fi related. I have been wanting to do SETI@home ever since I heard it was available and I just got my chance. I am very happy to be among the countless others who are searching for E.T. life. I hope someday soon we will finally get the answer to many people's question, "are we alone in this universe?". Thanks for letting me help out. |

Well, I find it hard to believe we are the only ones in this universe. How is it possible we could be alone? It would be like a planet with a single ant on it. I'm sure we will either find life or it will find us.
We have a 50/50 chance that "they" will be friendly. I hope they are and I hope it will be like Star Trek when we/they are found. Benefits would be knowledge and technology beyond what we have and danger would be total annihilation.
I am running SETI@home hoping that either I find E.T. or that I get rid of the "junk" data so that someone else gets the "real" data. I just want to know if there is someone else out there. |
