Profile: Colin Wallace

Personal background
I am an artist working as a programmer in Ontario, Canada. I collect fossils, paint, sketch, and do wall murals. I am in awe of both the past and the future. The only thing that fills me with greater awe is looking at my three beautiful children.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As I stand in my backyard and look up at all of those white dots, trying to grasp the magnitude of their numbers, I'm drawn to the inescapable conclusion that there is other life out there. I believe that the discovery of other intelligent life would be the single greatest discovery in human history. Friends have countered with the discovery of fire, the wheel, electricity, etc. but those discoveries only redefined how we live. The discovery of other intelligent life in the universe would redefine what we are.
