Personal background
Your average computer geek that spends way to much time online and messing with computers, well that or spend to much time at the bar, one or the other. typical of people that like challenges I love a good game a chess and yes I am very competitive when it comes to things like pool or darts, or even texas hold'em for that matter. I do enjoy helping other with computer problems when I can and yup I do that for a living too. I been professionally working in the information support field since the mid 90's and can not imagine doing anything else with my life. I have been in to seti off and on for some time now and will probably fade in and out in the future as well. such is life as it happens.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) why do I run SETI@home?
Answer: If I am not using my computer resources, I see no reason to not share them.
