Personal background
Hi and Hello,
This is Christoph typing. Hope you can read me! ;-)
I'm livin', lovin', workin', sleepin' and Mac-using in a small Village near Hamburg, Germany.
My name will be soon on the way to mars with Mars Exploration Rover 2003 (on CD-Rom) and in my thoughts lightyears are shrinkin' to seconds every day (light is a dead snail against phantasie).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
They are, were or will be out there, I'm sure.
But I don't think we got a realistic chance to find them yet. Time and the incredible size of space are against us.
However, don't stop trying. Who knows.....

Should we send a beacon? Why not. I think we've allready done so since the first radio-transmitter. Hope they will never recive all the bad soap's :-(
I would send only a few words first time: "We think."

The idea to work together with millions of other people all over the world at the same project is absolutely fascinating to me. That's why SETI is running on my Computer.
That and "who knows...."

Don't stop trying.
Chris
