Personal background
Hi this is tushar from New Delhi, India. I am I.T. graduate. i love reading, music, playing guitar, exploring night sky with my telescope and just anything to talk regarding cosmology. Since i was a child, i got a fascination about this mysterious universe, like how big it is? Is there any end of it or not? How many universe there could be? Where human life stands in it? What is inside the black holes? Are we alone? and lots of other questions that fascinates me a lot throughout my life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well i am 100% optimistic that one day seti@home will discover alien signals. I think at least if not in our nearby star systems, somewhere in our galaxy intelligent life do exist and we must not forget that it is only one of the billions of galaxies in universe. Whats better example then us. If intelligent life can evolve here , why can't somwhere else in the universe. I think it will take time for humans to discover it. Either we are too much far behind as compare to their technology or too much advanced. In both situation it will take time, either of side have to possesed with a better technology.I hope someday humans will going to catch their existence. Discovery of an alien civilization will broaden our chance to know how evolution of life takes place in this mysterious universe. Well their could be a danger of such discovery, but a privilege and ecstasy to know about another world in this universe. We will not be alone anymore.
