| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe that life is out among the stars. I have always felt that you could not look up at clear stary sky, and think that we are alone. Not sure when we will discover "them", but I so believe that "they" have been here already. To me the benefits of the discovery and or contact with others not of this world are mind boggling. We should not only listening for others out there, but we should also be transmiting to them, hopefully something other than The Lucy Show. I currently run SETI on two PC, my laptop and a test server in my cube at work, the test server runs SETI 24X7. I will be adding one to two more over the next couple of weeks. I think this is a great way for people like me to be involvded in such a wounderful project. |
