| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Given what I know about evolution and the vast number of galaxies existing, I think it's quite likely for there to be intelligent beings on another planet. Finding a signal from another life form may be a long-shot, but I'm certainly willing to give up my computer's free time to increase the probability of that long-shot being realized, given the significance it would have. If we did make contact we would most certainly be the less advanced, since our species is really just in it's invancy. |
