Personal background
Hi, I am born 1956 and live in Germany. I am a computer generalist, interrested
in internet and artificial intelligence. I am a hamradio operator - call sign
DL2FBA. When I have time, I am reading or writing science fiction.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Maybe we should ask the dolfins wheter there exists intelligent life on this
planet - besides dolfins of course. There must be intelligent live here quite
close to us. I beliefe on Sirius it does exist. If there was none, all our
stellar nighbars must have gone there, to see what becomes of a solar system
after a nova occured.
I beliefe answering could not harm us. Better talk to them before they make
us talk. That is why I am running SETI@home.
I would like somebody to scan Sirius on all frequencies. I feel something is
comming from there: Some 2000 years ago astronomers have seen Sirius red.
A laser, driving a ship with a light sail? 1920 to 1930 Astronomers have seen
something but could not identify it because it changed position 20 times?
Or because it was the light sails of 20 different ships? Today we can see
some 20 objects, close to Sirius, but not moving with the Sirius system.
Enough to think about?
Please excuse me for writing science fiction again. But the facts remain.
