Profile: The Jedi Alliance - Galaxy

Personal background
We are a couple who have been participants of seti at home for years. I am a hard core Star Wars fan and have been since it was originally released. My friends say Vince and I are a little different since we decorate our home with space stuff. Our hope is thru the work of many people and projects like seti, someday we will contact others out in space.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel extraterrestrial life does exist and that we have been visited by some of the other life beings that exist. I believe there are some that are more advanced that we are and they are waiting until our society is ready to accept other forms of life with acceptance instead of violence. I also believe there are other life forms that are not as advanced as us or maybe at the same level that are doing the same thing we are as far as looking for other life forms and that some day in the not so far future we will meet up. I believe we should continue to send information about ourselves into space for others to find and there are many that welcome them. I have SETI@home running all the time. I did have a breif peroid where my computer was having some problems and I was unable to run it, but other than that it is ALWAYS on and ALWAYS running SETI@home. We have the Cable Modem and whenever the program needs it can connect to update its data. We run a network at home and both our computers run SETI@home. I am also in the process of setting up my laptop on my laptop to run SETI whenever I am not using it.
