Profile: David Elwell

Personal background
I live in Brandon, Mississippi. I was born April 2, 1953. Professionally, I am the Staff Safety Engineer for Delphi Packard Electric's Southeast Operations. My hobbies vary greatly; I hunt, love computers, weather and storm chasing as-well-as alot of other things.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that one day we will make contact with extraterrestrial life. In what form, I do not know. For the time being we need to continue to listen and search for it. I run SETI@home because I thought the whole concept of using unused CPU power was a great idea. SETI was a wonderful idea that should not have been cancelled in the first place. I'll keep donating processor time as long as there is data to process.
