Personal background
i've been a member of seti since november 2002. i think it's rather astonishing how so many people across the word can offer their cpu's for the distributed processing of the SETI data. quite cool!

i even made my own seti competition page on my website, taking the XML data from the seti site and parsing it so that i can display it very nicely on my own site. thank you SETI for the XML data. :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. who knows?
2. maybe, maybe not. we should send the first season of the simpsons. maybe if someone finds it, they'll think we are a cartoon.
3. cause i think SETI is cool. i think the project is cool. i really don't know if it'll get anywhere, but it's better than wasted computer processing power.
