Personal background
I am a senior in high school for the class of 2003. I love computers. I work at the greatest job in the world (Winn-Dixie). And i drive a white 1989 toyota cressida with 190000 miles and it runs better than most cars with 50000 miles.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life is inevitable. Becuase how can there be so many galaxies, planets, solar systems, and other things out there and we being the only living things to witness it? Humans will probably discover the life forms after we figure out how to stay alive and young for a very long time, because then the people studying the stuff will be able to keep their studies up and not have someone else try to figure out what they have been doing. When we find other life forms we're gonna have to watch out for diseases and their technology because they will probably give us an encounter first. No, because if we do then other intelligent life might think we want a war. I run seti@home because i like competiting against my friends for data results and to help the big boys compute the data that they've found. This project is just something fun i like having run waiting to see if i have the "winning" signal. No suggestions just keep up the good work.
