Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Others offer to give their own lives for the exploration of space so the least we can can do is give our extra cpu time.
I often look to the stars above and I dream of what and whom may be out there. I dream as if I was still a ten year old child wishing I could one day become and explorer of the heavens. There is no greater adventure, no greater purpose, and no greater mission than to ride a rocket to the heavens above simply in the name of exploration and discovery.
With 100's of billions of stars, how in the world can anyone claim we are alone? A good mind of science can only claim something does not exist when he/she has undeniable and "repeatable" proof.
We as a race have none no such proof. We have the technology, the will, and the dream of simply finding out if we are alone.
