Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I certainly think that extraterrestrial life exists. I'm not sure that we will ever discover a signal from it (that inverse power law means they better be pushing a lot of power.)
I think the SETI@home project is a marvellous way of using some otherwise wasted CPU cycles in the name of science.
