Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I question whether there is physical life elsewhere, but the universe is SO vast, the odds favor it.
2. I would hope that anything out there that could reach us physically, would also be mature enough to want to communicate with us rather than eat us.
3. I enjoy running Seti@home because it gives me a feeling of contributing to a worthy cause without actually having to DO anything.
