| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Do I believe if Extraterrestrial life exists? Of course I do. To be the lone form of life in a universe so vast, I feel it unlikely that we are the only ones out there. Now, when and how will we discover it? Those are questions that even the experts can't even predict. As our technology becomes more advanced, the chances of detecting life out there increases. The benefits of such a discovery would change the way we think about things, and hopefully we can learn from each other to advance civilization to a more peaceful existence, with the hope of eliminating decease, hunger, and disparity. The use of beacons should be used to transmit a message of peace, in all known languages, informing Extraterrestrial of our existence and how to communicate with and locate us. I run Seti@home to assist the search for Extraterrestrial life. If what I contribute helps the overall project to accomplish its goals, then the resources that I have allocated to Seti are well worth it. Let’s just say I am a believer in what Seti is doing, and I will do what I can to assist in this project.
