I am a watercolor painter from central Pennsylvania. I paint rocks. Isn't that exciting? That wasn't sarcasm, by the way. Rocks have more personality than your average pop star, for example. See, I figure painting subject matter than the general populace can relate to is a surefire path to endless riches.
Other than that, my interests include cats, backpacking, and homebrewing.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think that some other intelligent life form exists somewhere in the universe. I could be wrong, of course, but in my mind, the only thing more unlikely than the chain of events which eventually lead to intelligent life on Earth would be those unlikely events never repeating themselves anywhere in the vast stretches on the universe - it's one of those instances where the coincidence makes more sense than the lack of it.
I also think that it is unlikely that we Earthlings will ever see real evidence of it - but since using SETI@home involved one download followed by a whole lot of nothing, I figured I'd give it a go. |
