Profile: Captain hean

Personal background
Hello, my name is Captain hean, well not really but it sounds good to me. I live in Clovis, New Mexico and go the high school here, at least for the next 8 1/2 days. I enjoy playing games on my computer and watching TV, sure it is a very lame but I enjoy it. Sometimes I enjoy drawing man made objects, mainly in the area of Star Trek starships. I can't draw a living thing if my life depended on it, free hand that is. Before I forget, I am 18 years old but will be 19 on the May 31, 2003. My moto is that "I am not a betten man". I believe that when you bet, you can lose your soul and sanity. This creates the possiblity of self-destruction, in my opinion. I like Star Trek, but just for the record I am not a Trekkie or a Trekker, so please don't refer to me that way.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe extraterrestrial life exists and not just because I like Star Trek. I believe that the universe is to big to only have one small galaxy with a very small star system and only one livable planet with intelligent life. With the way us humans are acting now, I somewhat doubt extraterrestrials would like to say hello. Though if we were contacted it would allow us to stop fighting each other over the smallest "terrestrial" thing, we would look at our position in the cosmos in more broader terms. If contact occured it would also cause huge upheavals in the religious and social order. Radical religious groups would launch terrist attacks in larger terms than compared to Sept. 11. The large social population would act on mass hesteria, at least at first. I belive that the SETI project is the best thing to ever happen to the world, but is not getting enough funding. I would give you guys some money, but I don't have any money to give. I am very truly sorry for that.
