| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@home because its a statistically good analysis software, a nice plug-in for my Starry Night, and a neat screen saver.
I am not sure if ET's exist although the probability is high, and equally so we might be too far apart to communicate using present means in this vast universe.
The need of the hour is to better communication between us humans before we wipe ourselves out from this planet, and the Earth becoming a barren planet for any future alien visits.
In any case SETI@home is a wonderfully organized global project, worth a standing applause. CHEERS!! |
