Personal background

Hello All...I'm from VA. Beach,VA.,USA. I,m 57 and retired/disabled 5 back surgeries..failures.
before injuries I was a dental tech for 12 years.I was really into flying electric R/C aircraft
But then getting all the gear to and from the field got to be too much....So I took up Flight simming
on the computer. Along the way I found out about SETI....and have been crunching ever since.
I started out with a Cyrix PR266 with 32megs of ram,and have slowly upgraded to a pentium PIII 933
with 512 megs pc-133 ram,no over clocking. I run 24/7 for the most part,unless
ther are thunder storms in the area...I know my back UPS says 25k US dollars protection..but I don't
want to find out first hand!
I joined SKZDALIMIT A few months ago and am happy to be part of a group with such amazing people from all
over the world.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Sure I think ET exists...If I am,and You are...Then there IS some form of life
out in the void.I won't venture a guess as to kind,form,or smarts...But I know
that they do exist! We need to keep reaching out,for how ever long it takes, and by
what ever means until we connect I think math is probably the best chance of meaningfull
contact as it is the cleanest science mankind has to offer.
I run SETI to help the project reach it's goal, and for the fun of being part of a global
effort. It still amazes me that SETI does so well with the resources at it's disposal.
Yes,I get in a dither sometimes when the site isn't up....but really,my hat is off to them
they do a great job!
