| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think that humans haven't reach the level of technology where they can tell that there is, or is no other intelligent life form in the Universe besides us.
Hence I personally believe that since life can form on any planet with earth like conditions, there has to be such a planet else where in the universe, hence there has to be life. Intelligent life, i can't say but life, definetly.
My computer is very slow so i do not contribute much individually towards helping the cause of seti@home. But if everybody with a slow computer would think like that and not run seti@home then there would be a big difference to the worldwide contribution to seti@home. That is why i run seti@home. I believe that there is life and that I should help in any way i can no matter how small or insignificant. |
