I do believe that extraterrestrial life does exist. I won't make any predictions though, as to when or how we might discover them -or- how they might discover us. Some of the benefits I could see are possibly a better understanding of our origin, new technology for the betterment of mankind, insight into current scientific priciniples and theories, discovery of new science we may have never considered or thought possible. One predominate danger is the reaction of our population to such a discovery. There will definitely be mixed emotions all around the globe. |
