It's hard to believe we are the only living intelegence in billions and billions of galaxies..... (I don't understand this). As for as when, probably not in my lifetime. We should be able to defend ourshelves if we need to. If what's out there is as self-destructive as humans, OH BOY!!!!!
We know that we have been sending signals into the "out there" since the first FM and higher bands turned on. Or even from the first time ever powered in the labs.
I just hope that people will be able to understand and handle this. It seems that anything that is as adaptive as we are, our species must survive after our little blink in somewhere else's sky just fade's away.....
