Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that somewhere out there, there is life. The universe is so large that Earth cannot be the only planet that supports life. However, I have no idea as to how or when humans will discover other life forms. The benefits of finding ET life forms would be what we can learn from each other, provided they are friendly. But if they are hostile, who knows what might happen?

The SETI@home project looked like something I would like to participate in and it gives my computer something useful to do when I'm not using it.
