| hi,i am from austria (europe). by the way doppler was austrian as well as schroedinger and bertalanffy. physics and astronomy are a hobby of mine and i am very glad to partecipate to the seti home project. greetings from austria to all seti home project partecipants and remember: "togehter we stand, divided we fall". :-) |

personally i am convinced of the existence of extraterrestrial life..not because mankind feels the natural desire "not to be alone" in universe, but principally because it is in my opinion a "mathematical law" that somewhere out there in universe life exists. life seen as a complex cybernetical interaction of microprocesses...can assume a variety of "forms". when humans will discover extraterrestrial life is a very difficult question. personally i think it will be rather a matter of "chance" than of tecnical and scientific progress. once this statistically very "rare" case should be come real, the question will be how to get in contact with extraterrestrial life...and how long "our answer" will take to reach them...nevertheless i am fascinated by the seti home project and i am willing to contribute my very little part as millions of others, helping to elaborate the immense amount of radio telescope data. "it is in the nature of mankind to research, search and discover" and so it will ever be...
also if the great goal finding extraterrestrial life will take many, many generations in future...or may be not ?!:-) |
