| Im a Floridian, born in Cape Canaveral now living in Arizona. I never thought that i would miss home so much. I grew up near Kennedy Space Center and always had a love of space in many forms. My fondest memory was when Rocky Robb, "the voice of NASA," came to our school during the early part of the shuttle program. His wife was one of our elementary school teachers and he got us hooked. Living there was wonderful. I have so many links to the space program through family involvement, friends or some degree of seperation. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) Are there ET's? well why not, throughout our history there have been references to such. Even in some of our most prized paintings by our classic artists, there are depictions, just look for them.
2) Will ET's come here to earth? uhhh probally not... you see there's this big huge billboard out by pluto... it says AVOID EARTHLINGS, they're obtuse, self indulgent, barbaric, and they've trying to kill themselves since their recorded history.
3) And you too for less than the price of a cup of coffee a day can a)send it to sally struthers, b) throw it in the change jar, or c) let you sytems stay up at home around the clock and provide comupting power for SETI in hopes that one day someone will read this, and allow your computer to do something useful other than be a glorified checkbook register & game platform |
