Hello!
We are a couple who live in Florida, and have a strong belief in extraterrestrial intelligence.
Maria is a Design Production Coordinator for a major Publishing firm, and Warren is a pastry cook for a 4 star hotel.
We run our computer a lot, so we hope we can be an asset to this project. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| We both believe in extraterrestrial life. We are hoping this intelligence will be discovered soon, since that would advance our civilization considerably. There are dangers of such a discovery, but we believe that all scientific exploration comes with a certain amount of risk, and that risk is worth taking. We feel the dangers of non exploration, and the stagnation it would cause, far outweigh the risks that might accompany a great discovery. We also think humans should transmit a beacon for others to find. It should contain a welcome greeting in all known languages, and a message of peace and goodwill to all. We run SETI@home because we believe in it. We are thrilled to be a part of this project, and hopefully a part of it's discoveries. We sincerely feel that SETI@home can one day help to shape our future on this planet. |
