| Former Marine (66-70), retired ironworker(high-rise construction and bridges) and I presently run a cattle ranch. I enjoy motorcycles, personal watercraft and roller blading. Growing old doesn't make you quit playing, quiting playing makes you grow old. I have only had a computer for a little while, so am not "computer literate". I just point and click, and when it works as expected, I'm happy with it. I grew up coast to coast, but now call Oklahoma home. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I firmly believe in extraterrestrial life. It will find us and will either be a great boon, or bane. We can only hope for the best. We have been sending out enough radio waves and other clutter that we don't need a beacon- we are probably the loudest planet in the Galaxy. I run SETI because I believe in it and hope that in my lifetime it's work will be accomplished. |
