Personal background
Hello there. My name is Frank and I am living in a small town near Madrid, Spain called Majadahonda. I am 36 years old. I am an electrical engineer specialized in Microprocessor based Systems Design and I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in 1990. Since then I moved back to Spain and I have been working for the two biggest technology companies here, Abengoa and INDRA Sistemas. My hobbies are computers, science, technology, model railroading and I am the number one fan of Formula One's Ferrari team. Forza Ferrari and forza Michael Schumacher.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think that extraterrestrial life exists. The reason why is very simple. It is impossible that in a universe as big as the one we have, only humans can be found. There most be some other extraterrestrial forms of life somewhere. I guess we are too far apart right now to meet but I think in a not so distant future we will discover life in some other part of our universe.
I run seti@home because I have always been very interested in science projects and I have always wanted to help but I thought it was very difficult for me to get involved. However, with seti@home I can help by allowing my computer to do the calculations together with millions of other computers at other homes all over the world. It is incredible. Keep up the good work and keep sending units to our computers so we can continue to analyze the data together with you.
