Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think other life exists in the universe but i don't think we will find it
in many lifetimes. It would be like finding a needle in a field full of hay
stacks. We will probably find them when they want us to. We already transmit so
much information into the airwaves that any such project is unneccessary. If
they do let us find them they are probably much farther along than us and the
benefits from their advanced technology and medical advances could be enormous.
The dangers are minimal. What could we possibly have to offer them?
