Profile: Philip Kubik Jr.

Personal background
Living in the State of Michigan gives me a lot of time during the winter months to play with my computers and my other hobbies. Although I do enjoy the snow from time to time, as I get older I find it to be a nuisance rather than a pleasure, if you know what I mean. ....

I have many hobbies, from an avid Model Railroader to just Surfing the Net. Although in my younger days I used to Surf the Current within the Ocean Waves unlike the Current within the Computer as Zeros and Ones, if you know what I mean, Hang Ten Man. .... LOL

By day I practice as a Mechanical Engineer and currently at night I have gone back to school to get my Masters in Mechanical Engineering, something that I wished I would have done years ago, but as they say, Better Late-Than Never. It will all be worth it, I Think. .... :-)

Well, enough for now, got to keep searching the universe for our friends out there, Later. ....
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti At Home is an excellant use of idle computer time.

Like many have said, if we are to believe we are the only living carbon based units in this or any other universe, what a waste of space. There must be a creator, what he, she or they may look like is what the question really is, not if they exist, but what do they look like, right? I don't think that they are little gray people with big black eyes or are they, interesting question, huh.

Well, enough for now. I just hope that it is my computer that sees the spike that we are looking for. .... :-)
